Planet Portal Affiliate Programme Terms and Conditions

These Affiliate Programme Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern participation in the Planet Portal Affiliate Programme ("Affiliate Programme").

By applying to or participating in the Affiliate Programme, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Affiliate Programme

The Planet Portal Affiliate Programme allows approved affiliates ("Affiliate", "you") to promote Planet Portal using a unique affiliate referral link and earn commission on eligible subscription payments generated through their referrals.

Planet Media under the Planet Portal website reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend, or terminate an affiliate application or account in accordance with these Terms.

2. Affiliate Referral Links

Approved affiliates will receive a unique affiliate ID and/or referral link.

You may use your referral link on websites, social media, newsletters, online communities, content platforms, and other permitted promotional channels.

You must not modify, disguise, or use your referral link in a way that could mislead customers or interfere with accurate referral tracking.

3. First-Click Attribution

Planet Portal uses first-click attribution for affiliate referrals. This means that if the visitor subsequently clicks another affiliate's referral link before creating their Planet Portal account, the original first affiliate retains the referral attribution.

Once the customer creates a Planet Portal member account, the referral attribution is associated with that account.

4. Lifetime Referral Attribution

There is no standard 30-day expiry for an established affiliate referral.

Once a customer has been attributed to an affiliate and creates a Planet Portal member account, the affiliate attribution may remain associated with that account for the duration of the customer's eligible subscription.

The affiliate does not need to refer the customer again for each renewal.

If the customer's Planet Portal member account is deleted, the affiliate referral attribution associated with that account will also be removed.

If the same person subsequently creates a new Planet Portal member account independently, their previous affiliate attribution will not automatically be restored.

5. Commission Rate

The standard affiliate commission rate is 25% of eligible successful subscription payments.

The commission applies to eligible subscription payments made under Planet Portal's participating subscription plans.

Planet Portal may introduce, remove, or change subscription plans and pricing. Any such changes do not automatically change the affiliate commission rate unless otherwise communicated or stated in these Terms.

6. Initial Subscription Payment

An affiliate may earn 25% commission on a customer's initial successful subscription payment where:

the customer has been correctly attributed to the affiliate;
the payment is successfully collected;
the subscription is eligible for the Affiliate Programme; and
the transaction complies with these Terms.

7. Renewal Payments

An affiliate may earn 25% commission on eligible successful renewal payments made by an attributed customer.

Eligible renewal commission can continue for as long as the customer's subscription remains active and eligible under these Terms.

8. Failed Payments

No commission is earned on a payment that fails or is not successfully collected.

If a payment is retried and is subsequently successfully collected, the successful payment may qualify for commission provided all other eligibility requirements are satisfied.

9. Refunds, Chargebacks and Reversals

If a payment for which commission has been awarded is subsequently refunded, charged back, reversed, or otherwise becomes ineligible, the corresponding commission may be reversed or deducted from the Affiliate's available or future commission balance.

Where necessary, Planet Portal may make reasonable adjustments to an Affiliate's account to reflect refunds, chargebacks, reversals, duplicate transactions, or other payment corrections.

10. Cancellation of a Subscription

If a customer cancels their website membership via the Planet Portal subscription, commission may continue to be earned on eligible payments successfully collected before the subscription actually ended.

Once the subscription has ended, no further commission will be earned unless the customer subsequently starts a new eligible subscription and a new qualifying referral relationship exists.

11. Commission Holding Period

Commissions are subject to a 30-day holding period from the date of the successful qualifying payment.

During this period, the commission remains pending.

This period allows the company to account for refunds, chargebacks, payment reversals, failed transactions, and other adjustments.

After the holding period, eligible commission may become available for payout, after the minimum payout threshold has been reached.

12. Minimum Payout

The minimum payout threshold is £50.

An Affiliate may request a payout once their available commission balance reaches the minimum payout threshold.

Planet Portal may review payout requests before approving payment.

13. Payouts

Approved payouts will be made using the payment method and payment information provided by the Affiliate.

Affiliates are responsible for ensuring that their payment information is accurate and up to date.

Planet Portal is not responsible for delays or failed payments caused by incorrect or incomplete payment information supplied by the Affiliate. Planet Portal may request additional information where reasonably necessary to verify a payout request.

14. Affiliate Promotional Activities

Affiliates must promote Planet Portal honestly, accurately, and responsibly.

Affiliates must not:

make false or misleading claims about Planet Portal;
make promises about Planet Portal that Planet Portal has not authorized;
engage in spam;
use fraudulent or deceptive advertising methods;
impersonate Planet Portal;
use Planet Portal branding in a misleading manner;
create websites or accounts designed to appear to be official Planet Portal properties;
use methods intended to generate fraudulent or artificial referrals;
interfere with the operation of Planet Portal's referral or payment systems; or
engage in any activity that could reasonably damage Planet Portal's reputation or business.

15. Self-Referrals

Affiliates must not use their own affiliate referral link to generate commissions on their own Planet Portal account or transactions.

Planet Portal may investigate and remove commissions resulting from self-referrals or other transactions that it reasonably determines are not genuine customer referrals.

16. Fraudulent or Artificial Activity

Planet Portal may withhold, reverse, or remove commissions associated with transactions that it reasonably believes involve fraud, abuse, manipulation, duplicate transactions, artificial referrals, or other prohibited activity.

Where appropriate, Planet Portal may suspend or terminate the associated Affiliate account.

17. Affiliate Account Information

Affiliates are responsible for keeping their account information accurate and up to date.

This includes:

Name
Email address
Contact information
Payment information
Other information reasonably required to administer the Affiliate Programme

Affiliates who do not provide true information or provide misleading information, may have their accounts suspended and balances withdrawn with their subsequent accounts being terminated with the programme.

18. Changes to the Affiliate Programme

Planet Portal may modify the Affiliate Programme, including commission arrangements, qualifying products, payout procedures, tracking methods, or other programme rules.

Where a material change affects existing affiliates, Planet Portal will provide appropriate notice where required.

Changes will not retrospectively remove commission that has already become payable, except where an adjustment is required because of a refund, chargeback, reversal, fraud, duplicate transaction, or other valid correction.

19. Suspension or Termination

Planet Portal may suspend or terminate an Affiliate account where it reasonably believes that the Affiliate has:

breached these Terms;
engaged in fraudulent or abusive activity;
provided misleading information;
violated applicable laws or regulations;
misused Planet Portal's branding or intellectual property; or
otherwise acted in a way that is incompatible with the Affiliate Programme.

An Affiliate may also request to leave the Affiliate Programme.

Termination does not automatically remove commissions that were validly earned before termination, subject to any applicable refunds, chargebacks, reversals, fraud investigations, or other adjustments.

20. Intellectual Property

Affiliates may use Planet Portal promotional materials made available specifically for the Affiliate Programme, subject to any instructions provided with those materials.

Planet Portal's trademarks, logos, images, text, website content, and other intellectual property remain the property of Planet Media or its respective owners. No ownership rights are transferred to an Affiliate through participation in the Affiliate Programme.

21. Privacy and Affiliate Tracking

Planet Portal may use cookies, browser storage, account information, referral records, and other technical information to operate and administer the Affiliate Programme.

Affiliate tracking is used to identify referrals, associate eligible customers with affiliates, calculate commissions, prevent duplicate or fraudulent transactions, and administer payouts. Further information is provided in the Planet Portal Privacy Policy.

22. Taxes and fees.

Affiliates are responsible for determining and meeting any tax, reporting, or other financial obligations that may apply to income received through the Affiliate Programme. Planet Portal does not provide tax advice.
The 25% commission is paid after any fees imposed by the payment partners of Planet Portal. Fees currently stands at 10%. Therefore successful transactions will be based on the 25% of the net amount paid by the customer. For example, a customer buys the monthly plan at £7.95 with a referral code. Therefore the net received is £7.95-10% = £7.15. The comission paid to "you" the Affilicate , would be 25% of £7.15 which is £1.78. The same structure applies to other plans.

23. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Planet Media by Planet Portal will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from participation in the Affiliate Programme.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

24. Governing Law

These Terms are subject to the laws and jurisdiction applicable to Planet Portal's operating entity, except where mandatory consumer or other legal protections require otherwise.

25. Acceptance of These Terms

By applying to or participating in the Planet Portal Affiliate Programme, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not participate in the Affiliate Programme.
